finally got to meet up with the girls today! (:

was supposed to meet them at 730pm at clarke quay and i wanted to take a one hour power nap BUT when i woke up and check my phone (it was around 815pm), i had like NINE miss calls from ping and i went like shit.. ha ha but i'm really glad that i still gotta meet up with you all (dawnieee, drey, ping and nickyyyy) and had dinner and just talked and laughed. yay! cool! meet up again next week before collecting our results! :/

was just reading my blog post which i wrote two years ago, the day before receiving my O levels results. and this year, im praying the same prayer i did two years ago. sometimes its so easy to tell others what to do, but when you're in that situation yourself, you go like 'shucks'. that's why, all the more i want myself to be rooted in His Word which can never fail me. if His Word says He has a plan to give me a hope and a future, then it MUST be so.

working at mrs fields has enabled me to grow in more ways than one. from mopping the floor (ha ha) to talking to people to knowing people's stories. you know actually we are really blessed? it's just that we fail to see how blessed we actually are. sometimes things doesn't turn out the way we want them to BUT the ones i really admire are those who make the best out of it. it makes me want to learn more from them.

and i'm finally going to meet my girls tmr! (: yay! okay, so goodnight world. God bless.

it's 3.30am now and i'm missing A3 and the girls so so much. haven't seen you all for what? decades? okay, maybe not that long, but i'm still missing you all. can't wait to meet up with all of you, like seriously. (i bet you all miss my jokes) (:

last sunday's sermon was by far one of the best sermons i've heard. it's so simple yet powerful and i just felt His presence so strongly, especially at the last part. i can't really describe how i felt at that point of time, but i saw the walls come tumbling down. it was as though the walls are so high they blocked my vision of everything and i'm encircled by the walls no matter where i turn to. but i saw it tumbling down when we shouted, and i saw sunlight shining in.

so hello people! i havent been blogging for quite some time i realised. hohum. life's been pretty good with the chinese new year, hanging out with besties and cg, working at mrs fields....the one thing i missed out on: my favourite SA peepos. i miss you guys so so much!! cant wait to meet up with you all this week! yay! (: ill post up pictures soon!!

i really thank God for the friends that He has put into my life. its amazing because I've learnt so much from them. and if there's one thing that i can hold on to when all else fail, its His word. there's something about it which gives me hope, not the kind of wishing hope, but the kind of hope you can expect because His word says so and because He doesn't lie. and when everything else seem hopeless and clueless for me, its only His word which comfort me and gives me hope. and im thankful for that.

its just not the same anymore. and im not expecting anything anymore. in other words, i've given up. and its okay. because i guess you're just not the one i thought you would be.
